Good sound but not really enough amp to push sub

The amp I got had great mids and highs 234 channel switch was broken I would recommend this amp to push 4 Fosgate 6x9 punch speakers or something like that not a sub Maxxsonics says power uprated 20 percent broken switch prob. A fluke if u want old school Hifonics take a pass on hf series go Zeus or Brutus depending on your wants

Great amp for the price..

I never thought about using the Hifonics amps in a custom installation but I will tell you if you are on a budget and are looking for a quality product this is the amp for you. I resently installed a custom system in a customers truck with this amp and it sounds way better then I ever thought it would. I hooked 8 sets of 3/4" soft dome RF tweeters to this amp and it handles the task with-out getting hot or clipping. It also shows well if you are doing a show quality system as well.

I was told these amps were the lower end amps, but I got it because of the price and I'm stubborn and I don't regret it one bit, it looks cool because it lights up. My highs sound so much better, very reasonable price, and never gets hot. If you are looking for a cheap amp but still good quality go with this amp.

Horrible amp

This amp is horrible spend the extra $20 on the brutus line trust me its worth it due to the cea compliance (true wattage)

I recommend this amp to everyone its cheap and it gets the job more than done. It's made cheap but for the price can you complain? Don't let that fool you the shell is only cheap the guts are good stuff it really does what it says actually a little more.

I love this amp! I have it hooked up to 4 hifonics zeus 6.5 components. This amp runs them with alot of bass, and highs with great clarity. Of all the 4 channel amps i have owned this one is the best by far. In my opiniopn it is just the exact right amount of power for your mids and highs. It looks so cool when its on and lit up. Cannot beat the price anywhere. Some people say hifonics is lower/ mid grade stuff. Well, I believe their amps at least are top notch. Best price by far and i cant say it enough.

This amp is easy to hookup. Easy to set. Amp produce power and clear for sound. Awesome amp and great price. Highly recommend to buy.

My system

I have this amp powering a pair of Kappa 682.9cf and Reference 9633cf by infinity and it sounds great, the speakers get more than enough power and the amp doesn't heat up.

Good amp maybe

I have this amp running four Hifonics Zeus ZXi 683 (85 watts rms @ 4 ohms) it does good under moderate load but if you crank it up the amp heats up and sounds washy. I still have to play around with a fan and other things to see if it helps but was shocked that it heated up so fast in a well ventalated area. also not sure if I lost a channel of if a wife got jacked but I only have three speakers working right now.

Once again Hifonics has delivered what they have advertised. This is my 3rd Hifonics amp and they have all delivered reliable good performance at a very reasonable price. Will be looking for an other one soon.
