NE82S is better for audiophiles who want a tight but not forceful bass. Like other sealed enclosures, NE82S is quite smaller so it would save some space in your car. However, if you really want an earth-shattering low-end, go ahead with NE82P instead.
A dual enclosure ensures both subs share the same physical footprint, preventing them from sliding around independently. It makes installation and wire routing significantly easier than manually have two boxes.
At only 11.5" high and 19.5" wide, it’s compact enough for many truck rear floors. It gives you the snappiness of two 8" subs without the massive footprint of a large box, keeping your cab functional.
We don't recommend. NVX includes just enough to help the box act about 15-20% larger sound-wise. Adding too much can actually choke the sub's movement. Only add more if your sub's specs significantly exceed the box's actual internal volume.
It’s for durability and fitment. Sharp MDF corners under carpet are prone to bruising or chipping during installation. Rounded edges prevent the carpet from tearing and make it much easier to slide the box into tight trunk gaps.
