The new Kenwood Performance series amplifiers are amps that truly live up to their name. Delivering high performance constantly and consistently. The Kenwood KAC-7205 is a high powered amplifier with a maximum output of 1000 watts. That power is distributed into two separate channels, or the two channels can be bridged to a single channel. The back of the amplifier features two cooling fans that allow the internal heat to quickly escape the amplifier. This helps the amplifier stay cool no matter how much use it gets. A low-pass filter is built-on to the board of the amplifier and can be adjusted with the dials on the front panel. This helps make the KAC-7205 amplifier the perfect choice for powering a subwoofer. It is also fully compatible with 2 ohm loads, which give the amp a wider variety of compatible speakers and subwoofers. Kenwood has also made this amplifier perfect for those that want to keep a factory stereo installed in their car by accepting speaker level inputs to provide an input signal. This helps make the installation into OEM systems easier and faster. Overall, this 2 channel amplifier from Kenwood proves to be a powerful and efficient choice for any car audio system.

Okay boys n girls I've owned this amp little over 3 years now and I have to say after buying it critics doubted this amp, but to this day it's still proving them wrong and exceeding my every expectation. Now I've mainly ran this in my Jeeps with little or no cover just mounted on the back of my box in what I guess is a trunk ha this thing gets best around too hell rained on spilt beer mud crap getting put onto of it. And it hasn't skipped a beat. Most I ever has to do was replace the cooking fans which was like 6$ at radio smack. Above all expected this thing to be dead and ever time it gets wet from rain or river water it just turns off till it's all dry again then right back to thumping . We'll built piece of handy work.

Kenwoos KAC-7205
I have had this amp hooked up to two Hifonics 12's for about 6 months now and never once has it gave me any trouble. Great amp.

Just Installed
Just installed this amp to 2 10" JL's. It's working great, sounds amazing. Fans are noticeable when no music is on and its sitting close to you (mine is mounted on the back of my collapsible seat)

Nice amp! But...
This amp looks nice and works good with my speakers and is good for the price. The only downfall to me is that it has a safety switch built into it, so when it gets too hot, it kicks off. Which is good so you dont blow any fuses, but then the speakers won't work at all. They come back on after a few mins and then go right back off, either the fans in the amp are not working right or I just have bad luck.

Great Amp
I have this amp pushing two MTX Thunder 5500 10" subs and its sounds great. the amp delivers clean power and pushes my subs a million times better than my old amp. Is defiantly worth the money

Kenwood amps are bulletproof
After 4 years of hard use (pushing 2 10" infinity perfect VQ's) in a moist trunk my last kenwood kicked the bucket. I liked that amp so much I was going to buy the same model, only to find out it had been discontinued and replaced by this model. After six months I have had no problems whatsoever. Most likely the best power you will get on a budget.
