The PAC FD1A-RSX is a high-level radio replacement interface designed specifically for Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with 24-pin and 8-pin connector systems. Part of the RadioPRO Advanced series, this module is engineered to seamlessly integrate a new aftermarket stereo into the vehicle's complex data bus. It ensures that critical factory features—like steering wheel controls, factory-amplified systems, and warning chimes—remain fully functional after the radio upgrade.
The FD1A-RSX acts as a communication bridge, providing vital data-controlled outputs for your new head unit, such as accessory power (RAP), reverse signal, parking brake, and vehicle speed sense (VSS). It is designed to work with both non-amplified and factory-amplified audio systems (including Sony or THX systems) while maintaining the integrity of the vehicle's data network. The interface is also field-updatable via a micro-USB port, ensuring compatibility with the latest firmware and vehicle software updates.
Note: Not compatible with model trim XL (fleet vehicles). Does not retain SYNC function.
