To Infinity, and Beyond Your Normal Woofer
Some think of the 10 inch subwoofer as a compromise of power handling, sensitivity, space and performance. In most cases, this would be true; however this Infinity makes no compromises when it comes to sound quality and crisp bass.
Infinity's product quality and excellence stem from their passion for music. This fact is evident in each of their lines, with no exception to their Reference Series subwoofers. Whether you listen to rock, hip-hop, jazz, country or anything else, these woofers will shine through with every note. High-gloss polypropylene woofer cone is lightweight which assures maximum efficiency which produces high output with modest amplifier power. This in no way means the Reference woofers don't have a sound quality side, far from it. Sound quality is the name of Infinity's game, and every beat will be smooth, crisp, and hard hitting. The large-roll rubber surround absorbs distortions that travel through the cone, ensuring clean bass response. Vented polepieces help cool the motor structure which allows for an increase in power handling. Engineering at Infinity is state-of-the-art and a great deal of computer aided design software is used to devise their products. This commitment shows in all of their product lines, and with such a good reference, it's a no brainer.

The sub not only looks pretty and modern, but it performs very well! I power this with a 400 watt MTX Terminator amp and it is housed in a basic box purchased from Sonic Electronix. I couldn't be more happy with this set up. It is moving onto it's third car this week; originally a Grand Cherokee, then a BMW, now a Ford Explorer.

First lets start with first rate shipping standards from Sonic "Bravo". I have always had the greatest respect for Infinity's engineering standards. My entire home 7.2 surround system is Infinity, driven by Sony's top of the line amp.I bought a new car with a Bose sound system from the factory and have been replacing all the speakers with Infinitys. My final speaker was the 1062W 10" subwoofer installed in a vented Bbox in my trunk. This system is powered by a 650 watt 5 channel amp, with 350 watts going to the sub.On a trip to the dealer for an oil change,I noticed that 3 mechanics where gathered around my car, then 2 salesmen came over, someone cranked it up it sounded great in that big bay area.I was told latter by the shop manager that the boys in the shop are impressed by the system and needed to know what was in the car, cause it beat the hell out of the factory Bose system.Thank's Sonic for everything.

Clean sounding subs, had a pair in a 1.5 cube sealed box, and they sounded great, but they werent loud enough for my huge car. I recently sold them to a friend and they kill his neon with both loudness and cleanness

I'm an old school SQ guy. I listen to blues, rock, metal, country, jazz, pretty much anything but hip hop and new rap. I wired a pair of these guys 2ohm stereo in a sealed 1.5 cubic foot sealed box. I'm driving them with a Soundstream Rubicon 2.600. They are just what I was looking for. Tight, fast and responsive. I detest loose, sloppy subs, because of what I listen to. If you want natural sounding subs, these are for you.

I bought this for my teenage daughter's car. I put it in a box, hooked up the amp and it sounds great. From talking with friends, she was hoping for a 12", but is now more than happy with the performance of this single 10".
It doesn't perform quite as well as the JL 10's I have, but for the price it can't be beat.

I have owned these for 6 months and they are great crisp clean subs that are well worth the money. Great for all music types, but if you want to bump I wouldn't recommend these as they are most sound quality subs not spl. But overall great sub for the money.

Just picked up one of these to replace a Kicker aluminum cone one (CVR maybe? forget the model) and freaking WOW. Sounds WAY better... The box I have is a pre fab way too small vented box. I think its .8 cu ft VENTED. 1/2 OF the recommendation from Infinity and it sounds GREAT! Think I'm going to pick up another one and build a better box... Can't wait!
