Not really up to expectations
This unit does almost everything under the sun, however I probably wouldn't have purchased it if I had known about all it's shortcomings beforehand. (at least what I use it for). Probably reflected by the sharp decrease in price since I bought it!
Pros :
-Wide range of features
-interfacing capability
-decent sound
-bright display
-customizable backlighting/button colour
-Garmin GPS built in
Cons:
-difficulty accessing and using features given the poor user interface and menu structure. (poorly designed)
-hard buttons have no tactile feel, very small and hard to select at times
- soft buttons on touchscreen hard to press with the raised bezel at edges of the display
-dimming has only two settings. The display is too bright when driving at night even on the low setting
-display hard to read in sunlight during the day
-prone to lockups requiring system reset
-very slow to respond to user input/selection
-2V preouts only. My JBL amp uses 4V and there's no way to boost the voltage without using an external line amp
-blinking security light rather useless as there is no actual security lockout feature
-audio equalizer setup/configuration confusing to use
-split screen not particularly useful
-Pandora not available in Canada
Nice looking unit but the useabiliy is not great.

not as perfect as i had thought
It is a pretty good deck. I have it installed in my Eclipse. I like MOST everything about it except the PROCESSOR. I think they spent all the money in development into everything else, and then went to China, and got the slowest cheapest processor that they could afford. It's really slow on the GSP calculating, and then your turns are about 10 seconds off. All the functions of the deck are extremely slow. It's a great deck, except it's just SUPER slow, and it gets annoying at times. For as much money as this was, it should be a lot faster and smoother.

Love it
Just installed my new unit last week, hands free is awesome, this radio does everything I could ever want. It does so much it's been a week and I found new stuff today. Price was great, it replaced my old Alpine at half the price. I would recommend it to everyone.

not worth your money
User interface is horrible. The unit responds very slow. The navigation is not intuitive and often does not recognize addresses. I find myself using my cell for navigation more than this unit. Also, the remote control is a joke. The remote has lots of buttons... none of which do anything. The interface for USB and iPod is very cumbersome and hard to navigate. With all technology advancements in the last few years this unit is pathetic.
