The New Massive Audio Volt Series 10" subwoofer uses a stamped steel basket with a heavy powder coat finish that surrounds the custom tooled poly mica cone. In the center of this 10” cone is the 1.5" Dual 2 or 4 Ohm voice coil with aluminum former and reinforce neck joint. It is attached to the steel frame buy a pro audio 1" N-Roll polyester foam surround. The Poly-Cotton spider with woven round tinsel lead wire holds the voice coil in place and helps deliver the CEA 2031 rated 600 Max Watts/300 Watts RMS power. All this helps the 4 layer voice coil pound its way thought a single 40oz high intensity grade ferrite ring magnet along with a FEMM linear flux saturated motor design which helps control motion and reduce distortion.
