UnderRated for sure ..
I own both Boss CX1800 and the Boss CXX2705.
The CX1800 is in my 05 Aveo Hatch and the CXX2705 is in my 04 Durango. Both run Dual 12" Kicker CompD122 and the Aveo has PB 6 1/2 seperates and PB 4x7. The CXX2705 Durango has Kicker DS35 up front and Kicker CS674 in the doors and backhatch.
Both cars have dual batteries and a 2 farad cap. This amp does the trick. IMHO this Amps are very under rated. If you match your wattage with good quality speakers these amps seriously give much higher AMPS a run for there money. BE WARNED these amps do get hot. Install them in an open area. SO GRAB ONE.. YOU WON'T BE Disappointed

Great 5-Channel Amp For The Price! Sounds Awesome!
I purchased this amp to replace my old two amps (one 4-channel and one mono channel), I had in the back of my 2007 Honda Civic. This 5-channel amp was exactly what I needed. It installed quickly, looks awesome, and sounds really wonderful across my 2 front component speakers, 2 rear coaxial speakers, and my single 10" subwoofer! Truly happy with purchasing this product for my car. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to switch from running two separate amps to power their system to only one.

Great value
If you need a 5 channel amp for a good price this is the one. Looks good and gives my Kicker speakers the juice they need to sound awesome. Would definitely recommend this amp to anyone on any kind of budget.

Great product
Excellent amplifier with tons of power. Does not over heat. Have used it to power two 6 1/2 and two 6 x 9 inch Kicker's. Subwoofer is 12 inch 800 watt RMS Kicker at 2 ohms. No problems so far. Have used a 3 Farad capacitor to compensate for power fluctuation if any. I highly recommend this amplifier. Great price also and nice looking.

Great Amp
This amp is perfect for my 300. I replaced 2 amps with 1, it has power to spare and adjustments galore. My 2 x 12" subs hit hard and the sound is crystal clear....and Loud!. Cant beat the price for a 5 channel amp with this much power.

Good while it lasted.
This amp powered one JLw0 and 6.5" db drive component speakers on my 2003 silverado z71 and lasted a little under a year before it went out. It sounded great and I really liked the five channel option on it but it was just not durable enough for me. Still a descent sounding amp for the money, perhaps I got a bad one.

Fantastic 5 channel high out put amp for the money
The amp powers 4 NVX VSP65 speakers in both the front and rear of car and a Pioneer TS-W3003d4 subwoofer . The gains are set at about 45% and at half volume the car just bursts with clean clear crisp highs , perfect mids , and slamming lows with 0 harmonic distortion !! I highly recommend this amp if you want high power to run your whole system with one amp . I know Boss is not top of the line equipment but the high output and the rave reviews sold me . You won't be disappointed . The only downside is the amp is huge !!

Great Amp, Great price, Perfect Configuration
I have owned my CX1800 for 4yrs. now, and I am very pleased. I am running Sony Explode 6x9's in the rear deck and Boss Audio 6" 2-way separates in my Century doors and a Pioneer 12" sub in the trunk. I thought the best solution would be a single 5Ch. amp- IF it had enough power and decent specs. The CX1800 was just the right solution. It packs 120WRMS x 4 into 4 Ohms- more than enough to drive the front and back speakers cleanly. And 200WRMS into 4 Ohms for the sub- again plenty or power. I was drawn to this amp (really not even being familiar with the Boss brand) strictly by the specs and 5ch. package of this amp. It has all the necessary features one needs to set-up a 5Ch. system like high & low pass crossovers, bass boost and a remote for the bass level if your head unit doesn't have a separate control for a sub. It's built like a tank. The sound is clean and accurate(my main concern) and can get more than loud enough for those volume junkies. My only complaint is that channels 1-4 only have a +18db switch for Bass Boost. This is way too much of a boost to be useful. +3db or +6db would have been more realistic. It should have been a Variable Control like it is for the 5th channel on this amp. With a sub you really don't need this switch anyway. It's a great value! I'm now a big Boss Audio fan.
