Power Acoustik BAMF4500/5D

Simply Amazing

I must simply say Amazing, class D amplification technology has really made products such as this unit a sound option in the six channel amplification market.
I replaced my 5 ch eclipse XA5000 with the Bamf 4500 due to the lack of power on the sub output on the XA, powering a Alpine 12D sub...Kappa 6.5 comp - front and Kappa 6x9's- rear deck and a Kenwood kt717 h/u in a 2004 300m, and the sound quality was superb except that the XA just couldn't handle the sub, although the XA never shut down.
After installing the Bamf 4500 insuring proper guidelines as far as 4 gauge power and ground, this is a must for this unit because it demands lots of current , and adjusting the levels, I was totally amazed at the sheer power and clarity of this unit, I had to readjust all settings on my eq and hp filters just to control this little beast and it's 3/4 the size of my XA5000...I had to turn down the sensitivity on the sub to the 11' o clock position just to keep the Alpine sub from extensive cone excursion..the bass is controlled and deep..!! and the unit barely gets warm.
In summary this is a product well worth every cent and more in my opinion, I also own a 5 ch Fusion and the Alpine 5 ch V9 in other vehicles and this unit can and will rival the V9 in power and sonic clarity for half the cost....Hmm.. Power Acoustic ...Great Job...!!

It's amazing the Power this unit has considering is a five channel it is amazing for the size of it
Then again all the power acoustic equipment I've ever bought has been amazingly powerful and amazingly powerful

I would recommend this amplifier even if you're just looking for a class D sub amp go for this amplifier cause you can bring the whole system powered up
The only downside is on the remote sub controle for the amplifier the LED is he very bright so do not place in a place that it might distract you as a driver
I did and now have two stickers on it to try to keep it from blinding me at nighttime

The little amp that could

I have this running my entire set up as intended and it does this well especially for such a small foot print. The mids and highs are great and crystal clear, the sub channel seems to put out RAW power, I had to turn the gain way down on this channel to make it stop bottoming out my sub. Once I turned the gain to a little over halfway it is absolutely the perfect Sub 5 channel as far as I am concerned.

For a small amp that goes under my seat in a truck this thing is powerful despite arriving with a broken bass knob and ihad to pay to send it back (30 bucks) they replaced the part and this amp powers all door speakers and two subs .. I highly reccomend this amp. Kind of hard to connect some wires because the top lid is in the way but if u take the cover off i.stall then put it back on youre good to go

Simply Amazing

Having never owned a Power Acoustic product , I am totally amazed at this units power and sonic clarity, I choose this unit because of it's specifications and price which in my opinion is well worth every cent and more...This unit replaced an Eclispe Xa5000 powering Kappa 6.5 components front..Kappa 6x9's..rear..and a 12" Alpine dvc R series sub in a ported enclosure controlled by a Kenwood Kvt717 H/U in my 04 300m...the sound was very detailed except for the bass which lacking in depth and punch due to the power output of the XA...after installing this little Bamf , my system came alive with increased clarity and the bass...I own other 5ch amps like ...R/Fosgate 5ez...Fusion..and a Alpine V9 and this unit will rival or beat the Alpine V9.

This amp has plenty of power, runs very cool at 4ohms , is easy to install.

Great amplifier

I never thought that this amplifier will exceed my expectations. I thought it would be a mediocre amp but I was surprised when I hook it up and start playing music. Crisp and clear sound. I have a 6 1/2" kicker on the front door and kicker 6x9 at the back. I have a Kenwood 12" sub and it gives a loud and crisp bass. I didn't turn the included adjuster for the sub and the bass was phenomenal. Didn't expect that a 5 channel will be this good. I always thought that you have to have 1 amp for the front and 1 to the back to make the sound good. But this thing rocks. I highly recommend this amp.

Running jl audio components in front and rear of my Suzuki sx4 200watts per channel at 4ohms. Mmatts pro cast 12" sealed sub running at 600watts 2ohms. Totally amazing sound. Very powerful and clean sounding amp.
