great sub
I got this sub in mail on time and it sounds awesome. It is one of the best 10s out there.
Its not the loudest ever but it is only a 10" sub with 400 watts.
I recommend it to anyone looking for sound quality, can't beat the price from sonic

Great little subs
My current set up consists of two of these in a small .60 cu truck box in my older F250 pickup. In the beginning I had them running off a Lanzar 800 watt amp and they sounded very nice for such low power usage. But now, let me tell you, these subs are marathon runners and can handle being run off a much much larger amp such as the Orion HCCA-2400 which I have them connected too currently. The gain is set at about 25% as I was being cautious not to blow the cones off them and I have to say, they hit very hard and draw alot of attention. Soon I will be adding 2 more of these subs in a 4x10 truck box instead of the 2x10 I am currently running. Once there are 4 in there, I'll be wiring them up to run at 1 ohm.

This is a great entry level sub!
I installed 2 in their own small sealed enclosure which is about .8 cubic feet, each, in my brother's vehicle. He has used them for a good while now and its safe to say that they are fully broken in. They are each getting about 150 watts RMS off of a rather power hungry 2 channel amp in stereo mode and they sound rather nice. They don't play really low, but they are entry level 10's so that is to be expected. They are comparable to other entry level name brands out there like kicker c104, RF P1's, MTX 4510's etc. all of which I've personally heard and installed. Its purely a matter of personal preference.
These Orions do well in small sealed enclosures, although I haven't put them in a ported one. But why mess with something that works well enough? No, you will not win any SPL contests, but they do get loud for 200 watt speakers. I do recommend these, but the only thing I wish they had as an option was a DVC model. OH WELL!

good for the money.
I just got 2 of these today, I put them in a 3.2 cf vented box. I'm running them on a Kenwood d9105d 1800 watt amp at 2 ohms. I have the gain at 2 volts freq is set at 65hz and bass boost at 7. a bit over powered but they actually like it. sound good. ill post another review when they are broke in..

Incredible Price vs Performance
I was thoroughly impressed with this product. I purchased it to replace an old Eclipse Sub that wore out and could not be happier.
Facts
Vehicle - 1995 Eclipse GSX (Hatchback)
Enclosure - 1.5 Cubic FT Vented Enclosure
Amplifier - Cadence Q200 (50x2@4ohm / 100x2@2ohm / 200x1@4ohm Bridged)
Hits quite hard with my setup.
Is much more musical than the Eclipse Sub I had before.
Was extremely inexpensive for the performance of the product.
If your looking to add some bass to your vehicle on the cheap this product will do it and not disappoint.

Great Woofer
I have 2 of the 08 models and there in a small sealed box under the back seat of my extended cab. There arent the loudest 10s ive ever heard but they're probably the cleanest sounding. I listen to alot of rock and rap music and they sound really good on both. I'd recommend these to anyone. Depending on what you listen to, you could get the 15's for some real low and loud.

Sounds great, takes power like a champ
I have this sub in a box way smaller than it should be in, and it still rattles my single cab toyota nearly to death on every note. That being said, I think I'm putting around 250-350 watts rms to it, as my amp is rated 500rms at 4 ohms, and I set the gain at a volume of 35 for 200 watts, but I occasionally go to 50, and it hasn't skipped a beat, no voice coil smell or heat, and it pounds. Even before I got my new amplifier and was only putting 200 watts rms to it it sounded great, just not quite enough for me. That being said, I am going to make a better box for this, and put it into my sister's car, while I can get a woofer I can throw the full 800 watts rms at, but I have recommended this subwoofer to all my friends, it's a great buy, and it's a good name brand to boot!
