The TS-WX010A compact powered subwoofer is a perfect upgrade for many of today’s vehicles, especially EVs (electric vehicles) and gasoline/electric hybrid vehicles where low weight, small size, and low power consumption are priorities. Measuring only 9 inches wide, 4-5/8 inches deep, and 2-3/4 inches high, and weighing just under 3-1/2 pounds, the TS-WX010A has been optimized for installation in the passenger side footwell and is the smallest and lightest powered subwoofer in the Pioneer lineup.
This speaker is particularly compact, allowing for installation in a wide range of vehicle applications. While the unit is primarily designed for the passenger side footwell, its small size and high output power may make you want to use it in other applications as well.
The TS-WX010A features built-in high-efficiency Class-D amplification, offering an ultra-low average current consumption of only 4.2 amps (max). This allows the unit to be installed without the need for heavy-gauge wires to power the internal amplification. In fact, this current consumption is so low that this amplified subwoofer is the ideal solution for adding bass to music in an electric vehicle.
