JVC’s KD-HDR40 is an In-Dash CD/MP3/WMA Car Stereo Receiver that includes a Wireless Remote Control. Built-In HD Radio provides you with a digital radio signal for a high-definition, high-quality radio signal that is almost as perfect as CD music. This JVC Player is equipped with a built-in DiAS II Tuner with 18 FM presets and 6 AM presets, 7-band iEQ with 6 tone curves, and a Advanced 24-Bit Digital-to-Analog Converter which all enhance sound quality. The white dot-matrix display and MP3 ID3 Tag Display provide an easy-to-read menu display.The JVC KDHDR40 is Bluetooth ready with a required adapter; this will allow you to place hands-free calls, stream audio from a compatible MP3 Player and voice recognition dialing. Great Unit
This is a great unit. Installed easy. Very happy with the performance, sounds great, plenty of controls, unless you are building a super high power system, this is a great unit for just about any application.

Love This Unit!
This radio is AWESOME! Bought it, and threw it in my 2000 Mercury Sable Wagon. SO Much better then stock! No real complaints, except every now and then HD comes in and out, but I have a feeling that's my antenna, and not the unit. Thing was confusing at first (coming from a old cassette radio) but now I know how to use it, the things awesome! The blue glow at night gets bright sometimes tho, but there is a option to dim them, and it helps a lot. I would recommend this radio to anyone, this thing literally ROCKS!

Just had it installed by a pro. Great sound on the original speakers. Impressed with the HD channels. Now I will be shopping for speakers.
I am still reading the manual to obtain more info. Also a good price. I recommend it if youre looking for something simple.

This has turned out to be a great buy at a good price. I bought it for my wife. It was way past time to replace her 4 yr old factory car stereo. It does everything I wanted it to without the extra bells and whistles. I have been quite pleased so far. If we wish to add on bluetooth or sat radio later, we have that option. Great, thanks!
