Compact Sound Pressure Meter with Voltage Measure Display
• Compact standalone sound pressure meter
• Measures SPL, current, maximum, and minimum voltage
• Measures speaker tunes and subwoofers
• Attachable to car windshield
Spl-Lab Mini Bass Meter(Second Edition) is a new device for measuring sound pressure and voltage. This device is, probably, the most compact SPL meter of those available on the market today. The uniqueness of this device is in its capability of simultaneously measuring sound pressure and voltage. At the same time, it is possible to capture sound pressure at the moment of reaching the highest SPL value.
The measured signal can be provided by both industrial equipment and acoustic systems. The device is simple in use and does not require additional settings and calibration. It is enough to simply connect the device to a car cigarette lighter for measuring sound pressure and voltage. The device can be attached to the windshield of a car and the measurements taken while driving. The Mini Bass Meter(Second Edition) is completely autonomous, which eliminates inaccurate readings.

Really decent little thing...
This is a nice, small, EASY thing to use. Really simple operation, with only 3 buttons.
If you're moving it around a lot, the cigarette lighter power plug CAN wiggle loose... But that's to be expected from one of those.
Sonic Electronix had a picture in the list, that showed a USB cable (to connect to computer, for updates), and a flash drive. This should mean that those items would be included in the package. But mine did not have those... That was part of the reason why I paid $5 more, to get the meter here.
I think all of these higher range SPL meters are overpriced, to begin with. But, I guess if you've got the monopoly on the market, you can charge whatever you want, right? You can get a cheap Db meter for around $20-$30... BUT, they only read up to 130 Db, and they usually have to be calibrated before you can use them.
All in all... This is a really nice little gadget, that works very well. No more guessing what my truck is doing. Now I have my base to work off of, and can see the improvements from future modifications.

Great little SPL Meter and Accurate, love this thing!
Great little SPL Meter and Accurate, love this thing! It's small but it's the best price on one of these I have found and yes it works. I didn't want to speand $1000. I don't care to have the voltage readout. But it isn't hurting anything. It can read up to 165 db. Way more ethan I will take it to, but I wil use it on friends vehicles. For around $220-$250 it's a really good thing to have to get a solid SPL readout. Great company also. If you want to measure spl, grab one. I love mine.

It's a heartbreaker. ????
This is pretty much the cheapest SPL meter one can buy that's accurate, only one I know of cheaper is the V1 of this, which is only $20 cheaper or so.
It's definitely a step above the prior version, being able to measure up to 165dB and having a power pack one can use. That said, it'll definitely break some hearts as many believe their system is louder than it actually happens to be. I already knew my current setup wasn't loud and this confirmed I was correct and that I was pretty much spot on with my assessment, which if anyone cares, it measured 130.1dB.
Making adjustments isn't the easiest, as you have to hold down two buttons while plugging it in to power. That gets you into the menu. However, it shouldn't need manual calibration for the dB and if one uses the power pack, then voltage doesn't matter. However it can be adjusted as well. You can also change between term-lab classic and magnum, with magnum being the default setting. Not sure why one would change it to classic.
Really, other than the disappointment of finding out you're not as loud as you think, the only thing I feel one may dislike is the fact it's a Russian product.
Build quality I didn't rate as I have only had it a few days.
