Not bad
Not bad but the amp gets warmer then I would like after 30 minutes of playing. It was only on a 4 ohm load with gain at 12 o'clock position. I've done around 15 custom installs in my cars over the years. Everything from 6 12's to 2 15's from components to coaxials. I know what I'm doing so it's not any fault of mine.
PROS: good price, good sound quality, good power, good cross over options, adjustments on top easy to get to, looks nice, not to big, lots of ohm and setup options
CONS: gets kinda hot even in well ventilated arounds, fans recommended, would be nice to get 2 Allen wrenches since the cover over the cross over controls take a smaller size then the one used to remover the end caps (comes with Allen for end caps), would have liked Allen wrench holes instead of philips for wire screw downs
Overall: good amp for the money, gets hotter then I like (never went into protection) but hot enough it's uncomfortable to hold your hand on the heat sink for more then 10 seconds, other then the heat issue which never affected performance just person preference I would recommend this to others. If you can afford to get the Q150.4 do it. It's worth it a little larger but gets warm at best at the same levels and play time of the Q80.4, both amps sound great. Hope this helps with you decision.

unaltered sound
This amp pushes my 2 sets of mtx component speakers. It made them sound more natural than the other amps ive tried. It makes the midbass come out very nice and natural, and never gets harsh highs even at high volumes. It does use up quite a bit of power so make sure you use high quality 4 ga wire and rcas to get the best out of this top quality amp. The only downside is the acrylic top which flexes when hot and the knobs on top are funky to adjust so make sure to have a small screwdriver. and a 2.5 mm allen to remove the cover. other than that it is the cleanest and best quality amp i have used at the price. even an amp around 500 would maybe sound as good.

Wow. Kinda in shock here...
Bought this to run an active front stage (Usher 8836a 7" woofers and Vifa NE-19VTC tweets) in my wife's 04 Miata. For the price, I didn't expect much, but wow! First off, the noise floor with this amp is VERY low. Absolutely NO hiss/hum/static or noise of any kind (might just be my mad install skills, though...haha). Also, no annoying turn-on pops here; very nice. The power seems to be there, too; drives those 8-ohm Ushers with authority. Controls are easy to use and seem to work well. Got a little warm after 2 hours of driving it hard, but then again I have it installed vertically behind the pass seat (terrible for cooling), so It'd probably stay pretty cool in any "normal" install. Overall, I'm shocked at the value here. I didn't expect anywhere near this much from an inexpensive Maxxsonics amp.
