Very clean output.
I love MB Quart amps. The sound these amplifiers reproduce are very accurate. I've replaced a crappy amp with an MTX and noticed a significant increase in sound but with tuning it still never sounded right. Replaced that amp with MB Quarts and they produce clean and equally loud sound. Most MB Quart amps are not CEA compliant, including this amp. I do not believe it puts out the full 600watts RMS @ 2 ohms with 50 amps worth of fuses, but it is plenty for my single RE SEX10D4.
Also noted that in the amp box there is a piece of paper that shows wiring diagrams for ohm loads and it states in bold "All Maxxsonics mono amplifiers are 1 ohm stable." This amp is clearly advertised on their website and here NOT to be 1 ohm stable and this is unique to the FX mono amps as a budget approach. I don't recommend trying to run this amp at 1 ohm. Subsonic filter is a nice bonus. The amp is rather large for it's power output, but it looks good!

Great amp for the price
This is a very good amp.I have 2 MTX subwoofers, 225 watts rms each wired in a 2 ohm load, and they are getting more than enough power. i recommend this to anyone who is on a budget and wants a good amp.
Pros:
Looks great
Gives a lot of power for the money
Ran for a long time on a 2 ohm load and has not gotten hot
Cons:
Not yet!

Very Nice Amp
I'm driving an efficient 12" Planet Audio subwoofer in a .8 cu. ft. sealed enclosure, and have this wired at 2 ohms. It is very clean; with no distortion or clipping.
I was pleasantly surprised at the aesthetics of the amp; plus it has decent heft. If i upgrade and go with a 4 channel amp for my front and rear speakers, I will not hesitate to go with an Onyx line model.

Great amp, Small Price
Back around September, I decided it was time for my first sub, I had the sub, box and even wire kits picked out, but was not sure on an amp. Seeing as I had very little budget left, I took a jump with the MBQuart FX1.600. Let me tell you, this is a great amp. I mounted the amp behind the sub box, and I have it powering a 600 watt JVC Arsenal 10 inch in a ported box. At first I was disappointed. The thing had twice the power of other 10" subs I have heard, and still didn't seem to hit as hard. Then I decided to tweak the amp a little. After putting all settings a quarter turn down from max, and then playing with the subsonic filter, I have this thing hitting. This amp puts out enough power to rattle my entire car. Kudos MBQuart, for making a cheap, reliable and still quality amp.

Decent amp works well
Pros: volume control, compact, works well, good price
Cons: wish it had a little more thump for 600 watts

good amp, good price
I would recommend this amp if your looking to save a lot of money. it seems powerful, but not quite the 600 rms @ 2 ohms.... but for the price, oh well. it makes my alpine R10 hit good. it is rather large for its output, but look at size specs before you buy if your short on space. i have this amp mounted on the back wall of a gmc crew cab with the seat about 2 inches away from it and it doesn't get hot at all. Bass knob works awesome. i would buy another.

Affordable!
The amp is great for the money. I've experienced no problems after a year of daily usage. RMS output seems accurate, I would recommend this amp to anyone looking for an affordable first system.
