Great amp, great value
Never owned mb quart products but this is really great sound. I will recommend this to anyone

Don't expect great power out of these amps, I'm willing to bet anything they don't come close to rated. Sound quality is pretty good but MB is not what it used to be since the buy out. I ended up switching out to Boston Acoustics GT amps and selling both of my MB Quarts.

For a budget amp (albeit well built for a budget amp) I have Zero complaints. Compared to the HiFonics counterpart, this is a lot more controlled of a sound and not as power hungry (although still pretty power hungry). Be sure to provide atleast 110-120Amps of constant current to really get the feel of what this amp is capable of. Not a super high current amp but high enough that your average car alternator will need an upgrade or another small battery.
The sound quality of this amp for under $200 is is quite good! I'd argue excellent even... No issues with the knobs, buttons or gain sensitivity. This amp was extremely easy to dial in and very quiet once completed.
I have run this amp for an hour at a time at about 75% of my HU's volume and though warm to the touch, never outright hot (unlike the Onyx version I tried before which was rather uncomfortably warm to the touch).
This amp is long, make sure you have the room to mount this thing and at more than 14lbs, I'd suggest a low mounted wood surface of some sort.
I have been around many amps of much more cost that are rated at 125w at 4ohms and I feel that this amp, with properly provided power, will do rated power. Unlike a previous review here, I respectfully disagree.
HOWEVER, if you are looking for loud and belligerent, look elsewhere. The measures that MB Quart took to make this a great sound quality choice I feel has hindered the sound pressure some (though when pushed, it still gets uncomfortably loud).
Though that could also be a driver/sound dampening issue (I have them hooked up to a set of Image Dynamics CTX5.5cs and CTX65's with fully dampened doors and my Acoustic Jazz sounds fantastic).
The amp doesn't have the most on board features but, if you're looking for a straightforward no frills 4 channel to connect to other outboard gear, its a fantastic piece of hardware.

I'm running this on 4 hertz, the voice levels are not even half way to its max power and the loudness it's crazy. Sound is crisp, clear and not distortion of any kind. Also I like how it never overheats. I drive from San Diego to LA every weekend bumping the music loud to a point were it almost makes my ears bleed and the amp never heats up. The brand might not be all that great of a brand but the sound it gives out to the speakers can easily keep up with them and I can with all confidence say it sounds better than an a few Audison amps. If you're looking for a serious amp with a lot of power, this might just be what you are looking for.
