JL Audio 10W6v3-D4

Best mix of SQ & SPL ever created.

The v3 w6's are flat out perfect. I've been waiting along time to get my hands on this. I already had the w6v2 but I wanted the new model because its a piece of fine art. In fact I spent 3 days just admiring it before I got anywhere close to installing it.Given the similarities between the two model, I wasn't expecting too much of a bump in performance but I was dead wrong. The extra 25% in Xmax gives it an even deeper tone and very noticeable SPL gains. The new w6 makes buying a w7 futile. There' is no better mix of SQ and SPL for a sub on the market. I'm running the 1 ten of the 600/1 but to be honest all you really need is 300-400 watts to make this woofer straight out bang with zero distortion. Hands down its the best I've ever had and I've had just about every brand over the last 15 years. Most importantly thank you sonic for making magic happen and getting these subs before 90% of the world hadn't even seen one let alone buy it! Great job guys!

JL audio is the best company I've person ever owned. Subwoofers, high, and mid all great products. With the right airspace and correct power you will have the best quality at your fingered tips. JL audio you can't beat it.

I've had JL Audio equipment on and off over 20 years, and have always been impressed by their performance and quality. This sub is typical of JL. Sounds bigger than it is, with tons of deep, yet articulate bass. Far and away the best 10" sub I've ever had. Worth every penny.

Exceptional value!

This "near competition" sub is great. I have a single 10" on 500w RMS to a matching JL Slash amp, and it hits like the po' boys dual 12s next to me. It's all about having the right setup. I have it in a custom enclosure, port tuned to 42hz. Couldn't be happier for an everyday setup.

This little 10" sure outputs alot more than u would expect. SPL is great, SQ is great.. just overall impressive and alot more than i expected

good sub

i bought this and used an infinity 1600a mono block amp to power it with 900 watts max output. for a single sub and amp it is loud enough. no issues or complaints about the product. Satisfied with my purchase

Excellent Driver!

My knowledge is very limited with regards to car audio, I have only owned JL Audio and Rockford Fosgate subwoofers, and I've heard/installed Re Audio, Polk Audio, MTX, and Kickers and I will say this: the 10w6 subwoofer sounds ridiculously good! The bass is deep, crisp, and loud for the wattage and size. I would recommend shelling out for the 13w6 though personally as it is much louder, but this woofer is outstanding. Highly recommended for someone looking for a 10" driver.

AMAZING

I put one of these in with my Orions it is running of 500/1 Slash Series and and this thing is amazing it added a lot to my system. I would recomended these to anyone i am a JL fan for life. I will be getting another shortly

The best mix of SQ and SPL

Sonic is now carrying the V3 even though this is listed as the V2. Nearly same chassis but with a new beefy rubber surround compared to the previous model's foam surround for added durability. The V3 model has the same power handling with a higher and deeper output. Plus the 10 year old design gets refreshed in an all black paint scheme similar to the W7 AE models. Only thing to beware of is that the V3 has a vented pole peice meaning you need an extra 1/2" of mounting depth to operate correctly. Seriously this is good as it gets for half the price of a W7. And you know sonic has the best price in town.
