SKAR Audio VVX-12V2 D4

So far so good!!

Purchased 2. So far these subs sound great. I have not pushed them hard yet because I want them to "break in" properly. I am only throwing 800 rms at these subs and WOW!
Time will tell, once broken in I am going to up the power a bit.

Good sound

Have this sub on a skar 1000.1 LP @2ohms I built a custom ported 3 cu ft box internal volume. tuned @35hz and pioneer TSA 6x9s & TSA 6.5s on a skar 60.4 all powered with second XSD925 battery and with all skar wiring. sound is strong super clean and crisp all flows well together. But the sub fills my car with really good low bass n good sounding highs i like all music n this sub hits the different types of music really good. gave value a 4 bkus there prices r a lil steap n durability a 4 only kuz I've had them about two weeks but the amps, subs, and wire all seem to b of good build overall skar is good quality and recommend.

I did my research on these speakers for about 3 months before I bought them. I have to say I love these speakers. I bought 2 Dual 4ohm down to 1ohm and put them in a 35hz ported box. Pushing with a Hifonics Brutus BRX-2400.1D(http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_67936_Hifonics-BRX2400.1D-Brutus-BRX-2400.1D.html). These speaker sound great and hit hard both SQ and SPL. I recommend these! I will stay with these and looking to get 2 more.

Trunk Sounding Like I Got A Alligator in The Back

These thing hella slap mane! I have been in the car audio game for 20 plus years and I have to say these are some of the hardest banging twelves out there at this price point. I paired them with a Pioneer GMD 9601 and a American Sound Connection (2X12VMBASS) box. The box is 1.80 cubes per chamber and ported at 34 hz. The manufacturer recommends 1.75 at 34hz so this box was as close as I could get without building one. The xmax and the 180 ounce triple stacked magnets are the things I love most about the build because they help produce a lot more sound pressure than
your average twelve without sacrificing sound quality. I you know your subs then you know pressure and sound quality is where it's at.

Mediocre at best

Not overly impressed with this sub. I have this(SKAR VVX-12 D4) in a ported box getting lots of power, but it's not producing the wow effect I was expecting. It does not hit the low notes as loud as I would like it to. I had a cheap Kenwood KFC 12" in a sealed enclosure that sounded better. For the price, I was expecting better sound, and I am very disappointed. As a result, I cannot recommend this sub. Next time I would get something else, maybe the NVX as the reviews are better and the prices are cheaper.

I bought 2 of the VVX-12V2 D4 and bridged to 1ohm. I have to say I love these subs and about to buy 2 more in the future. I have them in a ported box tuned at 35hz with the Hifonics BRX-2400.1D amp. Good subs

These subs get low n hit good one 10 vvx older model gave me plenty of low thundering. The other review he says his kenwood was better?? I dono bout that one musta had a s***ty box or hooked up wrong my 10 was in a 1.85 ported n sounded really good. Recommend this sub and sonic.
