Featuring an AI-driven DSP, the KEY200.4 is one of the first amps fully compatible with newer vehicles using start-stop systems. The amplifier also features FIT2 (Fail-Safe Integration Technology), providing compatibility with nearly every stock and aftermarket radio on the road today. If the temperature reaches the threshold, the KEY200.4's dynamic power-management algorithms kick into gear! Instead of hearing the amplifier's volume “pumping” or blowing a fuse – KEY technology engages a nearly inaudible limiter/compressor, applied only to the peaks of the music for as little as milliseconds at a time. The amplifier quickly cools, which deactivates the compressor. Music returns to its full dynamic range without a moment’s interruption!

Auto tuning DSP amplifier for under $260 (at time of review), what a deal.
At time of review this amplifier was on sale, under $260 with tax, shipped. I'm just a hobbyist, not really an audiophile, and do not have a pro installer's tools like a real time analyzer or oscilloscope.
I've installed the previous KEY180.4, powering some cheap components in bi-amp mode and was quite impressed with the sound stage and and equalization, even with the baseline gain settings. I'm happy with how it sounds even without a subwoofer. Apparently the 200.4 has some internal tweaks that increased sound quality along with the increase in power, can't wait to install it. It's going into a different vehicle with better components (Alpine Type R), also bi-amped. This truck has a head unit that also has auto time alignment and equalization, I've tried the auto tuning process a few times with some decent coaxials and am still not very happy with the sound stage.
Install hint - triple check the DIP switch settings, it took me a few tries running the tuning process because I had a switch or two in the wrong positions.
