Following the long tradition of award winning electronics, Eclipse introduced their highly innovative amplifiers. The Eclipse XA1200 monoblock amplifier follows strictly that tradition and the result is an incredibly efficient amplifier made for subwoofers. This single channel amp is designed and engineered specifically with the intent to push a subwoofer clearly, efficiently, and without the distortion that other amplifiers produce. Using Eclipses latest technology, the XA1200 features ICEpower. This means that the amplifier produces superior audio quality, is housed in a compact case, reduced energy demand, and amplifier reliability. Heat is kept low with the digital processors inside the amplifier, resulting in an increased power output. The amp is quite small when compared to how much wattage that it is able to produce. At 4 ohm, the XA1200 produces 350 watts and 500 watts at 2 ohm. That is more than enough wattage for any entry-level system, up to a high-end advanced system. The package includes a bass level remote so the user can adjust the bass level from the front seat without having to adjust any setting on the amplifier itself.
