MTX Audio has rolled out a new series of amplifiers for 2011. The new Road Thunder series will be available in 5 different models ranging from class D mono-block to 4-channel full range amplifiers. The brushed aluminum finish will go great with any vehicle, giving it a nice professional look. MTX has included some of their patented technology into this new line of amplifiers to assure product quality and efficiency. The Road Thunder series will introduce performance at an affordable cost.
The Road Thunder RT604 is perfect for those looking for just the right amount of power. Rated at 60 watts RMS at 4 ohms x 4 channels, 90 watts RMS at 2 ohms x 4 channels, and 180 watts RMS at 4 ohms bridged x 2 channels, this amplifier is perfect for those looking to amplify their speakers or even some entry level Single Voice Coil 4 Ohm subs to the bridged impedance. The class AB 4 Channel amplifier will have the option for selectable low pass, high pass, or full range mode. The amp will also include speaker level inputs for easy installation. With its small structure this amplifier is perfect for any system that really wants to roar like thunder.
