Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

If you’re looking for a purely marine amplifier, then MVP-Series amps are the way to go. Unlike the V-Series and V-Series micro amps, MVP amps are designed solely for marine and powersports, providing exceptional power and durability in harsh environments
IP67 is an indicator on how a device can handle dust and water. In this case, IP6 means that the MVPA2 has complete protection against dust, while 7 refers to water protection during immersion to up to 1 meter (3 ft. 3 inches) for 30 minutes.
As long as your fairing is measured 10" or more by length, MVPA2 is fit on your motorcycle fairing. This amplifier is especially compact for Harley-Davidson fairings and custom sportbikes.
It's for convenience when you use the MVPA2 in real world applications. On many bikes or boats, the side of the amp is blocked. Top-mounted controls let you adjust crossovers and gains from the top after it's already mounted.
MVPA2's auxiliary input is designed for vehicles such as UTVs with no stereo. You can basically plug your phone directly into the amplifier using the 3.5mm port.
The bass knob is intended for those who will use the MVPA2 to bridge 2-channels to power up a subwoofer at 600W RMS.
Use the variable High-Pass Filter (HPF). Set it to 80Hz to cut out the deep bass your small speakers can't handle. It helps in hearing your music clearly over wind and engine noise.
MVPA2 uses sealed, corrosion-resistant connectors. It provides protection in harsh outdoor environments where exposed terminals usually turn green and fail within a season.
It’s IPX67 rated for submersion, but we recommend avoiding direct high-pressure blasts. You can hose down your UTV after a muddy ride without worrying about the audio gear.
The conformal circuitry acts as a giant heat sink. While it's waterproof, it’s also thermal-efficient. This keeps the music playing even when the amp is soaking up the sun on a roll bar.
