Class D KICKER Power
Introducing the newest line of Kicker amplifiers, the IX Series. For the first time ever in Kicker history, they have entered the world of full range Class D technology. The amplifiers have been carefully designed and engineered with the incredible attention to detail, intense research and development, as well as proprietary Kicker components that only Kicker amplifiers are made with. The result is a dependable and highly efficient Class D amplifier that can produce an enormous amount of power. The Kicker IX amplifiers also feature the smallest amp chassis that Kicker has ever manufactured. The compact size enables the amplifier to fit in the smallest compartments of the vehicle. These amps are so small that some installers have been able to put these amplifiers inside of a glove compartment! The amps are so efficient that they are able to run all day long with little current draw and very little heat generated. Even though the heat sink is less then 10" in length, the amps still are barely warm to the touch after hours of intense use. Kicker makes the choice easy. For a high-powered, highly efficient, and compact amplifier, choose the Kicker IX amplifiers.
Full Range Class D mean High Output
The four-channel IX amplifier is a one of a kind. Offering a full range of amplified frequencies across four audio channels. With the installation of this single amplifier, a vehicle can have all four speakers powered with Kicker power. For the Kicker IX500.4 amplifier that means 75 Watts x 4 Channels at 4 ohm, and an impressive 125 Watts x 4 Channels at 2 ohm! No matter what type of after market speakers are installed, the IX amp will provide plenty of clean power. Since the amplifier is bridgeable, it can be configured in 4 channels, 3 channels, or 2 channels. It also features an advanced 12 dB/octave electronic crossover for the finer acoustic tuning. Following Kicker's tradition of high output, each amp exceeds the rated power. That means the 500 Watts RMS is actually more than that. Each amplifier is tested, rated, and given a "birth sheet" in the Kicker factory that listed the tested power. Every amp exceeds the rated power. That just one more reason to choose Kicker!

Best Kicker Amp yet
Installed this a couple of weeks ago to push 4 Kicker KS 6.5" door speakers. I went with this Amp because its small, compact and efficent. (And it's KICKER). All I can say is WOW!! Very loud, Very clear. Sonic Electronix had best price and best shipping.

First digital amp
I had an oldschool MTX 40x4 running 4 MB Quart 6.5 on 2 channels at 2 ohm stereo and the other 2 channels 4 ohm mono on 2 8 ohm MTX blue thunder 12s in parallel. System sounded great but I wanted more power and headroom in a small amp that would fit in the cubby hole under the floor in the back of my 98 pathfinder. After some research I purchased the Kicker IX500.4. 75x4 It is a nice strong amp. It did what I wanted for the bass but the mids and highs sound a bit harsh compared to the MTX. I would recomend these class d amps for bass amps but like the more natural sound of a class a/b amp for the mids and highs. Amp runs cool but I do have a fan on it. Over all I think the IX Amps are solid for a bass amp.

Clean sound
I chose this amp for the limited amount of available space and low current draw I was looking for. I like the ability to stack multiple amps and have them still run cool. I have played it loud for extended periods of time and have never had any hiccups.

Great Amp.
I just put this in my car with 4 Kicker 6x8's. It sounds great and looks very nice. I was pretty impressed by how small and heavy it is (which is always a good sign). Also, I like the simple look of it and the blue LED that comes on when it powers up. It was also small enough to mount on the back of my fold down back seat. So far, this seems like powerful yet inexpensive amp.

Kicker class D
This amp is bangin!!! You don't need anything bigger for your high and midrange speakers. I have focal polyglass mids and high range speakers and this amp pushes them to their max. I can't turn my music up all the way with out irritating myself. This amp was definitely a good investment for the discounted price I paid for it. I will be back to order more equipment when bring my caprice out of storage this summer.

Awesome Amp!!
I am over 40 and have owned several amps over the years. This class D four channel amp is one of the best I have ever owned and is without a doubt the most efficient! Bridgeable down to 2 ch. The heat sink is only 10 inches. You could mount this amp almost anywhere.
It is crystal clear and extremely loud! I will be buying another for my boat very soon.
